Welcome Back!
Even though I've already seen these episodes, it is about time to see it back in the US. If you have never seen any Doctor Who, just give it a try, these new shows rock. Fantastic!

While some people worry about global warming, world peace, the war in Iraq, or who's getting to the next round on American Idol, there's really only one thing that get's me riled up: prostitution. The underground trafficking in human slavery prostitution. It has become a more popular subject in media, with films such as Lilya-4-Ever and HBO's second season of The Wire. If you missed it, last night on Frontline, they had a documentary on trafficking in Moldovia and Ukraine, exporting to Turkey, and other countries. They estimate that worldwide 500,000 women are kidnapped, and sold into prostitution every year. (That doesn't include the children who are trafficked every year.) What was amazing about the program is that it tracked down a lot of traffickers and interviewed some of them on camera. I don't think I have seen that on TV before. So if you missed the show, try to catch it sometime.
