Hello!

Hey, everyone, I just wanted to say that I'm still alive.  And boy, do I have stories and adventures to tell.  Things have been wonderful and challenging over the past few months, and I hope to write a bit about things in the future.  But until then, I hope everyone has a great holiday season.  Probably beginning in the new year, I'll get back to blogging occasionally and maybe often.  Time will tell.  Thanks for everyone who continues to drop by.

I was wondering if you had posted anything before about the short film "Blessing" by Stephen Williams. It is a poingant look at the struggles in Mormon families between the sanctity of Mormon rituals the acceptance of our gay children. It has been to a number of film festivals and is well worth the viewing time and money. Short films often don't get the exposure they deserve and I think this one is in the same boat. Stephen Williams masterfully displays the imagerey of this ongoing struggle in "Blessing". This migh be a good addition to your Blog. The film is available at www.protextfilms.com. Stephen is in the process of producing a full length feature film that should prove to be very powerful as well.

Looking forward to new blog entries! Merry Christmas!

Okay -- it's 2008. Time for that "I'll blog once in a while" goal to kick in.

Dave thanks for the encouragement - I've always appreciated your comments.

Glad you are doing well.

Still waiting....
Just kidding, Happy New Year and God Bless.
Do you ever envision yourself going back to the podcast?

Dear Friends ,,,, on an unrelated topic that requires our attention....
Recently a friend in our fold brought this "film" to my attention.
Her son apparently was sent this web link from someone.
this is NOT a joke,,,, I've been told that some people
question my intentions.
It's a movie clip (that has been recently released, or is about to,,, I'm not sure),,
anyway, it depicts Mormons as flesh eating ghouls, and it is just awful. www.thebookofzombie.com
PLEASE don't go to this web site,,, please just make note of it,,,,,

On behalf of myself and my husband, and our Mormon friends,
I would like to make sure that young people are NOT subjected to this terrible conception of true faith.

please let me know if you are able to help.

regards, Betty Toms

Hoping you still have stories to tell ...
